I found Phil after several phone calls with other companies who wouldn’t take time and the challenge of fitting a sisal carpet which was purchased online.Phil responded quickly to my message and after assessing the job he explained everything in detail. I wish I had spoken to him before making any decisions about our living room carpet.He did a great job, very professional and we couldn’t be happier with the end result.Would absolutely recommend him to anyone.

We found H2H Flooring via a cork flooring supplier, as a recommended installer. However, Phil soon assessed our home and our lifestyle and advised against this material, instead recommending a range of wool carpets better suited to our needs. This high level of expertise and professionalism went throughout our experience working with Phil at H2H. He kept us well informed of the process and timescales, installed the carpet to an incredibly high standard (Phil is a perfectionist!), and even returned on a Saturday to fit the final piece - a stair runner - as we had to wait quite a while for it to be made. The results are beautiful - we could not have asked for a better experience working with Phil and would recommend him 100%.

Phil is meticulous and knows the product very well; he is confident and thorough. Phil advised honestly around different types of flooring, branding and cost. He also helped colour match and support us with choosing the right one for us. He spent 2 hours talking and surveying the property before providing a quote that was competitive.Some other tradesmen did not have the level of knowledge he did which meant some things were not done up to the standards needed for Phil to complete the work in the time expected and caused Phil difficulties which we wish we had known about prior.Phil has done a brilliant job and he will be coming back to fit more LVT in other areas of the house shortly.

I have recently had Phil and the team at H2H flooring work as part of a large renovation project on my home. From the first visit Phil’s expertise in his products and vision for what we could achieve was fantastic. We had an idea of what we wanted but no clue on how we could achieve it or if our budget would allow. Phil developed a design plan to achieve exactly what we wanted, the finished product was more than we could have hoped for.Throughout the whole process Phil kept us informed and is consistent with his timing and plans.The team are lovely and it’s been a pleasure to have them in my home. I was impressed by Phil's knowledge on flooring in a presentation he made at an event I attended. I had had a real wood floor fitted by some other company some years ago and well frankly, I had never been satisfied as the floor moved when you walked across it. Whilst I had the original fitters out to try and sort the problem they were unable to do so and so I have had to just live with it. I was disappointed given it had not been cheap. I asked Phil if he would pop along and give me his opinion. The minutes he stepped on the floor (which he said looked fabulous from the doorway) he knew what was wrong. Phil diagnosis was lack of preparation of the floor base before laying and to make it worse the floor had been fitted incorrectly. The remedy would be to remove and relay half the floor. Not all of the floor, so saving me some money. I was surprised by his honesty on this point. If that wasn't enough he then called the manufacturer and they agreed with him to come out and inspect the floor free of charge and provide me with a report so I could take it up with the original fitters. Clearly I did not wish to have the original fitters back as I had no confidence whatsoever in their knowledge or abilities. If you want your flooring to be laid to last a lifetime then look no further than H2H Flooring. Phil and his team are all master fitters and Phil is I dare say, also a perfectionist. Plus, he is very friendly and respectful of your home as he immediately took his shoes off on entering without being asked. I would highly recommend Phil and his team

I contacted Phil on behalf of my 89 year old dad. His hall carpet had been down for more years than we could work out and it had gone very lumpy and bumpy and was becoming increasingly a trip hazard. When Phil visited dad to discuss his requirements, we decided we would have the kitchen floor recovered at the same time in the same flooring. Phil produced a quote and emailed it to both myself and dad (yes he does use email even at 89!). The quote was very reasonable indeed. When Phil and his team arrived to remove the old flooring and prepare for the new, they found the old underlay had turned to grain - hence the lumps and bumps. They also found other issues which were all remedied by Phil. The preparation of the floor was incredible. Talk about a solid foundation! The quality of the vinyl planks Phil has laid are amazing. The floor looks FANTASTIC. I cannot thank Phil and his team enough. They have explained everything to dad carefully, kept me up to date the whole way through and even made sure dad locked his door each day as they left. If you are looking for a fantastic floor, laid by absolute professionals at a very reasonable price indeed, then use H2H Flooring. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Phil came to our house on the week we moved in after we had rang other carpets places that couldn't fit us in in for 8 weeks the job was completed within 2 days and to a very high standard he really does know his stuff about flooring he goes above and beyond for his customers were having wood flooring put in our front room and we only wanted to have phil to do it again as he did such a fantastic job on the other carpets not enough stars I would give him a hundred highly recommended .

I can’t recommend Phil highly enough. His communication and advice about product was excellent, his quotation fair and transparent, but most of all he has great pride in his work and excellent attention to detail. There were a couple of discoveries along the way that neither of us expected, but he handled them with good humour and efficiency, getting the job completed on time and leaving me with a beautiful cork floor. He’s also a really nice guy which helps!

Brilliant, friendly service and very professional. Phil has done three carpets for us, two bedrooms, stairs and landing, all top jobs, and the attention to detail was second to none. This chap did our bedrooms on a bank holiday which I thought was brilliant, whole experience was relaxed, our dog jasper was not an issue for him, in fact he embraced him. I first saw Phil's work during an on stage presentation where he demonstrated the vast range of high end (and I imagine, not easy to do) flooring examples. I was massively impressed with what I saw and also his vast knowledge. He explained it really clearly to those of us like me, who do not understand flooring at all. He used my language instead of technical babble.A few weeks after, I needed a corner section replacing after the old one was ruined by a spill (Oven cleaning product!). And because I was anxious about getting the right job, first time, I did not want to risk using a cheap DIYer (or someone who's work I had not seen). So I knew that you'd get what you pay for with H2H Flooring.Everything was done really high end in terms of quality, communication all the way through from start to finish and Phil even came out on a Sunday to do a final finishing touch that was needed.It has a super long guarantee too. Plus Phil even explained the cleaning kit properly (all includes, plus tools) so that a layman like me could understand it.Fantastic service. I highly recommend Phil and will recommend to my own customers too.

Had the pleasure of meeting Philip on Thursday. He had offered to help my elderly neighbour after she had been let down quite a few times by local fitters. He came the next day to fix her buckled carpet which was a concern as she lives alone. He told her there would be no charge! We didn't end up using Phil in the end because of contracts our builder had already taken out, but Phil was so helpful, fast and kind throughout the whole process. He put himself out in many ways just to get us a quote, as well as just providing reassurances and explanations whenever needed.I can't actually vouch for the quality of the work because we didn't use him in the end, albeit no doubt it is excellent and good value, but if nothing else Phil is a trustworthy and helpful guy, definitely worth a shout if you need some flooring help

I contacted Phil on recommendation following having a badly installed faulty carpet fitted a mere few weeks ago. He listened to me cry down the telephone. The compassion, kindness he showed me, his absolute confidence in his own ability and high standards (backed up with a serious amount of certificates) sold me on that call. I instantly knew I could place my trust in him.He said he'd be out just two days later on the Saturday as I was working on Friday to take a look and he would either fix the current carpet or we could look at replacing it but he would ensure that the job was done correctly and professionally.True to his word he was out within two days, took a long careful look at the carpet and gave me the verdict that though he could fix the fitting, the carpet was faulty and really did need replacing. I knew right away that I just wanted the whole carpet ripped up and to start again from scratch.He sat down with the professional carpet samples books and walked me through all the carpet samples; his knowledge is second to none! He really does know his stuff! Pros and cons of each carpet and underlay carefully explained in an unrushed manner and absolutely no pressure selling! In comparison to my previous carpet person who basically just handed me some tatty samples cut from carpet with absolutely no discussion at all and then demanded money!I cannot praise Phil enough he’s an absolute super star and the difference in the professionalism was startling. He sent me a quote just a few hours later based on my chosen carpet with a proper online system which was easy to navigate and replied almost instantly to any query I had and kept in touch every step of the way.My biggest fear was having to live with my shoddy carpet over the Christmas period and I really couldn't stomach looking at it a moment longer but true to his word he managed to fit us in before Christmas. I cannot recommend his company highly enough, so much so I wouldn't ever consider using another flooring company and so will be booking him in for the remaining rooms! The quality of his carpet is fantastic and it just feels so luxurious in comparison. I'm actually smiling and no longer crying and sad.I'm one very happy customer!

The replacement was done start to finish by H2H with Phil taking me through all options in terms of carpeting and underlay materials at his show room, and turning the job round in a very suitable timeframe.
The install standard is superb and I’m very happy with the results. Would strongly recommended H2H flooring to anyone, experts in the field who put into perspective considerations about flooring that most others in the market wouldn’t even know where to start with.

Phillip arrived at my apartment at the time he had promised last Saturday. Completed the carpet fitting in just over half an hour to a very high standard, before clearing up all excess and any mess, and offering to help me place furniture back into my bedroom. from the very beginning of contacting H2H flooring you knew that you were dealing with an ultimate professional. Phil takes his job incredibly seriously. communication is absolutely fantastic. You get NONE of this "I'll ring you back later mate, yeah I'll be there first thing. I'm just going to go for some breakfast" that you can get with other companies. Phil is a professional turns up when he says he's gonna turn up. Does the job to the standard that he says he's going to do it to. And offers a generous discount for NHS workers and ex forces don't look any further if you want high quality flooring done to a professional standard with excellent communication throughout.

Quite simply, you would struggle to find a better carpet fitter than Phil. Polite and professional, he takes a great pride in his work and it shows in the amazing attention to detail and fantastic end result.
He did brilliant job fitting my vintage roll of carpet to my staircase and landing. A diamond pattern that would have drawn the eye to any uneven layout or pattern match. It looks superb, better than I could have hoped.

Phil did an amazing job for me and Julie. Our kitchen floor had been left botched and in an unsafe floor state. For a year we had worried about whether it could ever get sorted. Recently, Julie's elderly mum tripped over some warping floor tiles. That was the last straw. So we got Phil and he offered us hope and a way forward. From day one he provided a positive solution and a carefully detailed plan of action to get the job done. He brought in experts from Uzin and Bostik. He quoted fairly and provided a long run solution. Hard working and very friendly he worked his socks off to get the job done quickly. He was charming and very knowledgeable and keen to pass his expertise and knowledge onto his customers. Right from repair to the floor foundation and through to tile selection. Phil is continually developing his skills and expertise and is a real specialist in the area of flooring. | would recommend him for his honesty, integrity and professionalism. He really cares that he's done a good job for you. He even refitted our kickboards, door etc so to show off the floor to Julie when she got back from her ill dad in the midlands. So I would give him a 5* all the way. You will learn a lot from Phil as well as having a really professional job done for you. An authentic tradesmen!

We cannot rate Phil and his work highly enough! We had a problem with a badly installed laminate floor that had blown and was very uneven and looked terrible. We were at a loss as to what could be done.
Luckily for us we found Phil and he made a few visits to look at the problem and discuss options and he assured us he could sort it. And he did! He is a perfectionist and works to a very high standard, we had no idea the amount of preparation needed and the result was a wonderfully smooth and attractive floor(he has put pictures of the project from start to finish on his Facebook). He is professional, friendly, inspires confidence and explains what he is doing from start to finish. He works very hard to complete the work on time and really cares about the customer. Phil came to fit our carpet for our hall stairs and landing from Christopher Pratts the gripper rods what we had already down Phil said they were not put down in the right places so he took them all up and put them down how they should be he is a perfectionist and knows his job inside out Phil came at 9. am and he finished 6.45 when Phil finished our hall stairs and landing our carpet looks stunning it’s a Robertson Tartan so Phil had to get all the lines matching he has done a fantastic job and we would highly recommended him. I'll start with full disclosure that H2H flooring were recommended by a colleague of mine who is related to the man behind the company.
I contacted the company via Facebook messenger and had a reply within the same day and had organised a date for him to come out and quote.
The day came and he arrived at the time he said he would. He was very professional giving me a bit of background to his company and then went to measure up the room in question. He then brought a good variety of samples for me and my wife to look through. He was very open that he wasn't the cheapest but the quality of his samples were obvious just to look and feel. We were offered perfectly good underlay and showed the better underlay at a higher price, there wasn't a huge difference in price so we went for the higher quality one. With the actually carpet itself we also went for the slightly higher quality. He did advise that he could provide even higher quality options but we were more than happy with the feel of what he had showed me.
He advised that the quote would come through to me later that evening and I wasn't disappointed. The price that was quoted was perfectly reasonable as far as we were concerned. We have bought carpet from big high Street companies before and when you factor in the cost of fitting then the price was actually comparable. I accepted the quote and booked a date for the fitting. Everything was itemised and sent to me via email with the details for payment.
The day of the fitting came and he turned up as planned, he had contacted me prior keeping me updated on how long he would be but to be honest he didn't need to as he was still there by the time he initially advised. I did appreciate his contact though. He went straight to the room and cracked on with the job. I stood watching him for a short while and we talked about his business, which he obviously has a passion for, and all the while he continued working. I've had workers in before who spend more time talking than actually doing the work they are there to do. He also took a few phone calls while working and I was happy to see that he continued working while on the phone so it didn't slow down the progress.
When he had nearly finished my wife came home with my 3 year old son, who was invited to be the first to walk on the new carpet and he also asked him if wanted to help with the final fitting. I thought this was a nice touch as my son loved it, who knows, he could have a potential new apprentice in a few years! The finish of the product is fantastic, you can actually see the difference in the quality of fitting looking at one room to the next, there is nothing wrong with landing carpets but it's clear that the bedroom has far superior fitted carpets. They feel lovely to walk on. The full area was hoovered prior to him leaving and we were left the remnants to dispose if ourselves which is common practice anyway and was all bagged up ready to be taken to the tip.
All in all a great experience and one that I would recommend anyone looking for new carpets fitting. It saved so much hassle with him actually coming to us with the samples, rather than going through a show room with a commission led salesman following your every step!

Found Phil on My Builder and after a few chats and some great help and advice about what I needed he came out and fitted me a carpet. Was really flexible as needed it fitting on a specific Sunday and he did a great job. Just had him back to do my bedroom and hall and he's done another top job. Phil did an excellent job on my new laminate floor! He certainly takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows when the job is complete. He knows what he is doing and takes his time to explain each part of the process, especially when I had some concerns surrounding my patio doors and a rotten skirting board. He is also a very likeable person who is happy to chat as he works and most importantly, knows how to clean up after himself! We will be hiring Phil again in the new year to tackle our hallway, an area that I was really unsure what to do with. Would absolutely recommend to anybody, very professional and you could tell very knowledgeable and passionate about what he is doing, puts the customer first in every aspect.

We found H2H Flooring via a cork flooring supplier, as a recommended installer. However, Phil soon assessed our home and our lifestyle and advised against this material, instead recommending a range of wool carpets better suited to our needs. This high level of expertise and professionalism went throughout our experience working with Phil at H2H. He kept us well informed of the process and timescales, installed the carpet to an incredibly high standard (Phil is a perfectionist!), and even returned on a Saturday to fit the final piece - a stair runner - as we had to wait quite a while for it to be made. The results are beautiful - we could not have asked for a better experience working with Phil and would recommend him 100%.

Phillip arrived at my apartment at the time he had promised last Saturday. Completed the carpet fitting in just over half an hour to a very high standard, before clearing up all excess and any mess, and offering to help me place furniture back into my bedroom. Phil is meticulous and knows the product very well; he is confident and thorough. Phil advised honestly around different types of flooring, branding and cost. He also helped colour match and support us with choosing the right one for us. He spent 2 hours talking and surveying the property before providing a quote that was competitive.Some other tradesmen did not have the level of knowledge he did which meant some things were not done up to the standards needed for Phil to complete the work in the time expected and caused Phil difficulties which we wish we had known about prior.Phil has done a brilliant job and he will be coming back to fit more LVT in other areas of the house shortly.

I have recently had Phil and the team at H2H flooring work as part of a large renovation project on my home. From the first visit Phil’s expertise in his products and vision for what we could achieve was fantastic. We had an idea of what we wanted but no clue on how we could achieve it or if our budget would allow. Phil developed a design plan to achieve exactly what we wanted, the finished product was more than we could have hoped for.Throughout the whole process Phil kept us informed and is consistent with his timing and plans.The team are lovely and it’s been a pleasure to have them in my home. I was impressed by Phil's knowledge on flooring in a presentation he made at an event I attended. I had had a real wood floor fitted by some other company some years ago and well frankly, I had never been satisfied as the floor moved when you walked across it. Whilst I had the original fitters out to try and sort the problem they were unable to do so and so I have had to just live with it. I was disappointed given it had not been cheap. I asked Phil if he would pop along and give me his opinion. The minutes he stepped on the floor (which he said looked fabulous from the doorway) he knew what was wrong. Phil diagnosis was lack of preparation of the floor base before laying and to make it worse the floor had been fitted incorrectly. The remedy would be to remove and relay half the floor. Not all of the floor, so saving me some money. I was surprised by his honesty on this point. If that wasn't enough he then called the manufacturer and they agreed with him to come out and inspect the floor free of charge and provide me with a report so I could take it up with the original fitters. Clearly I did not wish to have the original fitters back as I had no confidence whatsoever in their knowledge or abilities. If you want your flooring to be laid to last a lifetime then look no further than H2H Flooring. Phil and his team are all master fitters and Phil is I dare say, also a perfectionist. Plus, he is very friendly and respectful of your home as he immediately took his shoes off on entering without being asked. I would highly recommend Phil and his team

I contacted Phil on behalf of my 89 year old dad. His hall carpet had been down for more years than we could work out and it had gone very lumpy and bumpy and was becoming increasingly a trip hazard. When Phil visited dad to discuss his requirements, we decided we would have the kitchen floor recovered at the same time in the same flooring. Phil produced a quote and emailed it to both myself and dad (yes he does use email even at 89!). The quote was very reasonable indeed. When Phil and his team arrived to remove the old flooring and prepare for the new, they found the old underlay had turned to grain - hence the lumps and bumps. They also found other issues which were all remedied by Phil. The preparation of the floor was incredible. Talk about a solid foundation! The quality of the vinyl planks Phil has laid are amazing. The floor looks FANTASTIC. I cannot thank Phil and his team enough. They have explained everything to dad carefully, kept me up to date the whole way through and even made sure dad locked his door each day as they left. If you are looking for a fantastic floor, laid by absolute professionals at a very reasonable price indeed, then use H2H Flooring. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I first saw Phil's work during an on stage presentation where he demonstrated the vast range of high end (and I imagine, not easy to do) flooring examples. I was massively impressed with what I saw and also his vast knowledge. He explained it really clearly to those of us like me, who do not understand flooring at all. He used my language instead of technical babble.A few weeks after, I needed a corner section replacing after the old one was ruined by a spill (Oven cleaning product!). And because I was anxious about getting the right job, first time, I did not want to risk using a cheap DIYer (or someone who's work I had not seen). So I knew that you'd get what you pay for with H2H Flooring.Everything was done really high end in terms of quality, communication all the way through from start to finish and Phil even came out on a Sunday to do a final finishing touch that was needed.It has a super long guarantee too. Plus Phil even explained the cleaning kit properly (all includes, plus tools) so that a layman like me could understand it.Fantastic service. I highly recommend Phil and will recommend to my own customers too.

We didn't end up using Phil in the end because of contracts our builder had already taken out, but Phil was so helpful, fast and kind throughout the whole process. He put himself out in many ways just to get us a quote, as well as just providing reassurances and explanations whenever needed.I can't actually vouch for the quality of the work because we didn't use him in the end, albeit no doubt it is excellent and good value, but if nothing else Phil is a trustworthy and helpful guy, definitely worth a shout if you need some flooring help

I contacted Phil on recommendation following having a badly installed faulty carpet fitted a mere few weeks ago. He listened to me cry down the telephone. The compassion, kindness he showed me, his absolute confidence in his own ability and high standards (backed up with a serious amount of certificates) sold me on that call. I instantly knew I could place my trust in him.He said he'd be out just two days later on the Saturday as I was working on Friday to take a look and he would either fix the current carpet or we could look at replacing it but he would ensure that the job was done correctly and professionally.True to his word he was out within two days, took a long careful look at the carpet and gave me the verdict that though he could fix the fitting, the carpet was faulty and really did need replacing. I knew right away that I just wanted the whole carpet ripped up and to start again from scratch.He sat down with the professional carpet samples books and walked me through all the carpet samples; his knowledge is second to none! He really does know his stuff! Pros and cons of each carpet and underlay carefully explained in an unrushed manner and absolutely no pressure selling! In comparison to my previous carpet person who basically just handed me some tatty samples cut from carpet with absolutely no discussion at all and then demanded money!I cannot praise Phil enough he’s an absolute super star and the difference in the professionalism was startling. He sent me a quote just a few hours later based on my chosen carpet with a proper online system which was easy to navigate and replied almost instantly to any query I had and kept in touch every step of the way.My biggest fear was having to live with my shoddy carpet over the Christmas period and I really couldn't stomach looking at it a moment longer but true to his word he managed to fit us in before Christmas. I cannot recommend his company highly enough, so much so I wouldn't ever consider using another flooring company and so will be booking him in for the remaining rooms! The quality of his carpet is fantastic and it just feels so luxurious in comparison. I'm actually smiling and no longer crying and sad.I'm one very happy customer!

I found Phil after several phone calls with other companies who wouldn’t take time and the challenge of fitting a sisal carpet which was purchased online.

Phillip arrived at my apartment at the time he had promised last Saturday. I have recently had Phil and the team at H2H flooring to work as part of a large renovation project on my home. From the first visit Phil’s expertise in his products and vision for what we could achieve was fantastic. We had an idea of what we wanted but no clue on how we could achieve it or if our budget would allow. Phil developed a design plan to achieve exactly what we wanted, the finished product was more than we could have hoped for.

Phil did an amazing job for me and Julie. Our kitchen floor had been left botched and in an unsafe floor state. For a year we had worried about whether it could ever get sorted. Recently, Julie's elderly mum tripped over some warping floor tiles. That was the last straw. So we got Phil and he offered us hope and a way forward. From day one he provided a positive solution and a carefully detailed plan of action to get the job done. He brought in experts from Uzin and Bostik. He quoted fairly and provided a long run solution. Hard working and very friendly he worked his socks off to get the job done quickly. He was charming and very knowledgeable and keen to pass his expertise and knowledge onto his customers. Right from repair to the floor foundation and through to tile selection. I'll start with full disclosure that H2H flooring were recommended by a colleague of mine who is related to the man behind the company.
I contacted the company via Facebook messenger and had a reply within the same day and had organised a date for him to come out and quote.
The day came and he arrived at the time he said he would. He was very professional giving me a bit of background to his company and then went to measure up the room in question. He then brought a good variety of samples for me and my wife to look through. He was very open that he wasn't the cheapest but the quality of his samples were obvious just to look and feel. We were offered perfectly good underlay and showed the better underlay at a higher price, there wasn't a huge difference in price so we went for the higher quality one. With the actually carpet itself we also went for the slightly higher quality. He did advise that he could provide even higher quality options but we were more than happy with the feel of what he had showed me.
He advised that the quote would come through to me later that evening and I wasn't disappointed. The price that was quoted was perfectly reasonable as far as we were concerned. We have bought carpet from big high Street companies before and when you factor in the cost of fitting then the price was actually comparable. I accepted the quote and booked a date for the fitting. Everything was itemised and sent to me via email with the details for payment.
The day of the fitting came and he turned up as planned, he had contacted me prior keeping me updated on how long he would be but to be honest he didn't need to as he was still there by the time he initially advised. I did appreciate his contact though. He went straight to the room and cracked on with the job. I stood watching him for a short while and we talked about his business, which he obviously has a passion for, and all the while he continued working. I've had workers in before who spend more time talking than actually doing the work they are there to do. He also took a few phone calls while working and I was happy to see that he continued working while on the phone so it didn't slow down the progress.
When he had nearly finished my wife came home with my 3 year old son, who was invited to be the first to walk on the new carpet and he also asked him if wanted to help with the final fitting. I thought this was a nice touch as my son loved it, who knows, he could have a potential new apprentice in a few years! The finish of the product is fantastic, you can actually see the difference in the quality of fitting looking at one room to the next, there is nothing wrong with landing carpets but it's clear that the bedroom has far superior fitted carpets. They feel lovely to walk on. The full area was hoovered prior to him leaving and we were left the remnants to dispose if ourselves which is common practice anyway and was all bagged up ready to be taken to the tip.
All in all a great experience and one that I would recommend anyone looking for new carpets fitting. It saved so much hassle with him actually coming to us with the samples, rather than going through a show room with a commission led salesman following your every step!

We have bought carpet from big high Street companies before and when you factor in the cost of fitting then the price was actually comparable. I accepted the quote and booked a date for the fitting. Everything was itemised and sent to me via email with the details for payment.
The day of the fitting came and he turned up as planned, he had contacted me prior keeping me updated on how long he would be but to be honest he didn't need to as he was still there by the time he initially advised. I did appreciate his contact though. He went straight to the room and cracked on with the job. I stood watching him for a short while and we talked about his business, which he obviously has a passion for, and all the while he continued working. I've had workers in before who spend more time talking than actually doing the work they are there to do. He also took a few phone calls while working and I was happy to see that he continued working while on the phone so it didn't slow down the progress.
When he had nearly finished my wife came home with my 3 year old son, who was invited to be the first to walk on the new carpet and he also asked him if wanted to help with the final fitting. I thought this was a nice touch as my son loved it, who knows, he could have a potential new apprentice in a few years! The finish of the product is fantastic, you can actually see the difference in the quality of fitting looking at one room to the next, there is nothing wrong with landing carpets but it's clear that the bedroom has far superior fitted carpets. They feel lovely to walk on. The full area was hoovered prior to him leaving and we were left the remnants to dispose if ourselves which is common practice anyway and was all bagged up ready to be taken to the tip.
All in all a great experience and one that I would recommend anyone looking for new carpets fitting. It saved so much hassle with him actually coming to us with the samples, rather than going through a show room with a commission led salesman following your every step!

Found Phil on My Builder and after a few chats and some great help and advice about what I needed he came out and fitted me a carpet. Phil did an excellent job on my new laminate floor! He certainly takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows when the job is complete. He knows what he is doing and takes his time to explain each part of the process, especially when I had some concerns surrounding my patio doors and a rotten skirting board. He is also a very likeable person who is happy to chat as he works and most importantly, knows how to clean up after himself! We will be hiring Phil again in the new year to tackle our hallway, an area that I was really unsure what to do with. I found Phil after several phone calls with other companies who wouldn’t take time and the challenge of fitting a sisal carpet which was purchased online.Phil responded quickly to my message and after assessing the job he explained everything in detail. We found H2H Flooring via a cork flooring supplier, as a recommended installer. However, Phil soon assessed our home and our lifestyle and advised against this material, instead recommending a range of wool carpets better suited to our needs. This high level of expertise and professionalism went throughout our experience working with Phil at H2H. He kept us well informed of the process and timescales, installed the carpet to an incredibly high standard (Phil is a perfectionist!), and even returned on a Saturday to fit the final piece - a stair runner - as we had to wait quite a while for it to be made. The results are beautiful - we could not have asked for a better experience working with Phil and would recommend him 100%.

Phil is meticulous and knows the product very well; he is confident and thorough. Phil advised honestly around different types of flooring, branding and cost. He also helped colour match and support us with choosing the right one for us. He spent 2 hours talking and surveying the property before providing a quote that was competitive.Some other tradesmen did not have the level of knowledge he did which meant some things were not done up to the standards needed for Phil to complete the work in the time expected and caused Phil difficulties which we wish we had known about prior.Phil has done a brilliant job and he will be coming back to fit more LVT in other areas of the house shortly.

I have recently had Phil and the team at H2H flooring work as part of a large renovation project on my home. From the first visit Phil’s expertise in his products and vision for what we could achieve was fantastic. We had an idea of what we wanted but no clue on how we could achieve it or if our budget would allow. Phil developed a design plan to achieve exactly what we wanted, the finished product was more than we could have hoped for.Throughout the whole process Phil kept us informed and is consistent with his timing and plans.The team are lovely and it’s been a pleasure to have them in my home. I was impressed by Phil's knowledge on flooring in a presentation he made at an event I attended. I had had a real wood floor fitted by some other company some years ago and well frankly, I had never been satisfied as the floor moved when you walked across it. Whilst I had the original fitters out to try and sort the problem they were unable to do so and so I have had to just live with it. I was disappointed given it had not been cheap. I asked Phil if he would pop along and give me his opinion. The minutes he stepped on the floor (which he said looked fabulous from the doorway) he knew what was wrong. Phil diagnosis was lack of preparation of the floor base before laying and to make it worse the floor had been fitted incorrectly. The remedy would be to remove and relay half the floor. Not all of the floor, so saving me some money. I was surprised by his honesty on this point. If that wasn't enough he then called the manufacturer and they agreed with him to come out and inspect the floor free of charge and provide me with a report so I could take it up with the original fitters. Clearly I did not wish to have the original fitters back as I had no confidence whatsoever in their knowledge or abilities. If you want your flooring to be laid to last a lifetime then look no further than H2H Flooring. Phil and his team are all master fitters and Phil is I dare say, also a perfectionist. Plus, he is very friendly and respectful of your home as he immediately took his shoes off on entering without being asked. I would highly recommend Phil and his team

I contacted Phil on behalf of my 89 year old dad. His hall carpet had been down for more years than we could work out and it had gone very lumpy and bumpy and was becoming increasingly a trip hazard. When Phil visited dad to discuss his requirements, we decided we would have the kitchen floor recovered at the same time in the same flooring. Phil produced a quote and emailed it to both myself and dad (yes he does use email even at 89!). The quote was very reasonable indeed. When Phil and his team arrived to remove the old flooring and prepare for the new, they found the old underlay had turned to grain - hence the lumps and bumps. They also found other issues which were all remedied by Phil. The preparation of the floor was incredible. Talk about a solid foundation! The quality of the vinyl planks Phil has laid are amazing. The floor looks FANTASTIC. I cannot thank Phil and his team enough. They have explained everything to dad carefully, kept me up to date the whole way through and even made sure dad locked his door each day as they left. If you are looking for a fantastic floor, laid by absolute professionals at a very reasonable price indeed, then use H2H Flooring. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I can’t recommend Phil highly enough. His communication and advice about product was excellent, his quotation fair and transparent, but most of all he has great pride in his work and excellent attention to detail. There were a couple of discoveries along the way that neither of us expected, but he handled them with good humour and efficiency, getting the job completed on time and leaving me with a beautiful cork floor. I first saw Phil's work during an on stage presentation where he demonstrated the vast range of high end (and I imagine, not easy to do) flooring examples. I was massively impressed with what I saw and also his vast knowledge. He explained it really clearly to those of us like me, who do not understand flooring at all. He used my language instead of technical babble.A few weeks after, I needed a corner section replacing after the old one was ruined by a spill (Oven cleaning product!). And because I was anxious about getting the right job, first time, I did not want to risk using a cheap DIYer (or someone who's work I had not seen). So I knew that you'd get what you pay for with H2H Flooring.Everything was done really high end in terms of quality, communication all the way through from start to finish and Phil even came out on a Sunday to do a final finishing touch that was needed.It has a super long guarantee too. Plus Phil even explained the cleaning kit properly (all includes, plus tools) so that a layman like me could understand it.Fantastic service. We didn't end up using Phil in the end because of contracts our builder had already taken out, but Phil was so helpful, fast and kind throughout the whole process. He put himself out in many ways just to get us a quote, as well as just providing reassurances and explanations whenever needed.I can't actually vouch for the quality of the work because we didn't use him in the end, albeit no doubt it is excellent and good value, but if nothing else Phil is a trustworthy and helpful guy, definitely worth a shout if you need some flooring help

I contacted Phil on recommendation following having a badly installed faulty carpet fitted a mere few weeks ago. He listened to me cry down the telephone. The compassion, kindness he showed me, his absolute confidence in his own ability and high standards (backed up with a serious amount of certificates) sold me on that call. I instantly knew I could place my trust in him.He said he'd be out just two days later on the Saturday as I was working on Friday to take a look and he would either fix the current carpet or we could look at replacing it but he would ensure that the job was done correctly and professionally.True to his word he was out within two days, took a long careful look at the carpet and gave me the verdict that though he could fix the fitting, the carpet was faulty and really did need replacing. I knew right away that I just wanted the whole carpet ripped up and to start again from scratch.He sat down with the professional carpet samples books and walked me through all the carpet samples; his knowledge is second to none! He really does know his stuff! Pros and cons of each carpet and underlay carefully explained in an unrushed manner and absolutely no pressure selling! In comparison to my previous carpet person who basically just handed me some tatty samples cut from carpet with absolutely no discussion at all and then demanded money!I cannot praise Phil enough he’s an absolute super star and the difference in the professionalism was startling. He sent me a quote just a few hours later based on my chosen carpet with a proper online system which was easy to navigate and replied almost instantly to any query I had and kept in touch every step of the way.My biggest fear was having to live with my shoddy carpet over the Christmas period and I really couldn't stomach looking at it a moment longer but true to his word he managed to fit us in before Christmas. I cannot recommend his company highly enough, so much so I wouldn't ever consider using another flooring company and so will be booking him in for the remaining rooms! The quality of his carpet is fantastic and it just feels so luxurious in comparison. I'm actually smiling and no longer crying and sad.I'm one very happy customer!

I found Phil after several phone calls with other companies who wouldn’t take time and the challenge of fitting a sisal carpet which was purchased online.
Phil responded quickly to my message and after assessing the job he explained everything in detail. I wish I had spoken to him before making any decisions about our living room carpet.

Phillip arrived at my apartment at the time he had promised last Saturday. Completed the carpet fitting in just over half an hour to a very high standard, before clearing up all excess and any mess, and offering to help me place furniture back into my bedroom. I have recently had Phil and the team at H2H flooring to work as part of a large renovation project on my home. From the first visit Phil’s expertise in his products and vision for what we could achieve was fantastic. We had an idea of what we wanted but no clue on how we could achieve it or if our budget would allow. Phil developed a design plan to achieve exactly what we wanted, the finished product was more than we could have hoped for.
Throughout the whole process Phil kept us informed and is consistent with his timing and plans.

He did brilliant job fitting my vintage roll of carpet to my staircase and landing. A diamond pattern that would have drawn the eye to any uneven layout or pattern match. It looks superb, better than I could have hoped.

Phil did an amazing job for me and Julie. Our kitchen floor had been left botched and in an unsafe floor state. For a year we had worried about whether it could ever get sorted. Recently, Julie's elderly mum tripped over some warping floor tiles. That was the last straw. So we got Phil and he offered us hope and a way forward. From day one he provided a positive solution and a carefully detailed plan of action to get the job done. He brought in experts from Uzin and Bostik. He quoted fairly and provided a long run solution. Hard working and very friendly he worked his socks off to get the job done quickly. He was charming and very knowledgeable and keen to pass his expertise and knowledge onto his customers. Right from repair to the floor foundation and through to tile selection. Phil is continually developing his skills and expertise and is a real specialist in the area of flooring. | would recommend him for his honesty, integrity and professionalism. He really cares that he's done a good job for you. He even refitted our kickboards, door etc so to show off the floor to Julie when she got back from her ill dad in the midlands. Phil came to fit our carpet for our hall stairs and landing from Christopher Pratts the gripper rods what we had already down Phil said they were not put down in the right places so he took them all up and put them down how they should be he is a perfectionist and knows his job inside out Phil came at 9. am and he finished 6.45 when Phil finished our hall stairs and landing our carpet looks stunning it’s a Robertson Tartan so Phil had to get all the lines matching he has done a fantastic job and we would highly recommended him. I'll start with full disclosure that H2H flooring were recommended by a colleague of mine who is related to the man behind the company.
I contacted the company via Facebook messenger and had a reply within the same day and had organised a date for him to come out and quote.
The day came and he arrived at the time he said he would. He was very professional giving me a bit of background to his company and then went to measure up the room in question. He then brought a good variety of samples for me and my wife to look through. He was very open that he wasn't the cheapest but the quality of his samples were obvious just to look and feel. We were offered perfectly good underlay and showed the better underlay at a higher price, there wasn't a huge difference in price so we went for the higher quality one. With the actually carpet itself we also went for the slightly higher quality. He did advise that he could provide even higher quality options but we were more than happy with the feel of what he had showed me.
He advised that the quote would come through to me later that evening and I wasn't disappointed. The price that was quoted was perfectly reasonable as far as we were concerned. We have bought carpet from big high Street companies before and when you factor in the cost of fitting then the price was actually comparable. I accepted the quote and booked a date for the fitting. Everything was itemised and sent to me via email with the details for payment.
The day of the fitting came and he turned up as planned, he had contacted me prior keeping me updated on how long he would be but to be honest he didn't need to as he was still there by the time he initially advised. I did appreciate his contact though. He went straight to the room and cracked on with the job. I stood watching him for a short while and we talked about his business, which he obviously has a passion for, and all the while he continued working. I've had workers in before who spend more time talking than actually doing the work they are there to do. He also took a few phone calls while working and I was happy to see that he continued working while on the phone so it didn't slow down the progress.
When he had nearly finished my wife came home with my 3 year old son, who was invited to be the first to walk on the new carpet and he also asked him if wanted to help with the final fitting. I thought this was a nice touch as my son loved it, who knows, he could have a potential new apprentice in a few years! The finish of the product is fantastic, you can actually see the difference in the quality of fitting looking at one room to the next, there is nothing wrong with landing carpets but it's clear that the bedroom has far superior fitted carpets. They feel lovely to walk on. The full area was hoovered prior to him leaving and we were left the remnants to dispose if ourselves which is common practice anyway and was all bagged up ready to be taken to the tip.
All in all a great experience and one that I would recommend anyone looking for new carpets fitting. It saved so much hassle with him actually coming to us with the samples, rather than going through a show room with a commission led salesman following your every step!

Phil did an excellent job on my new laminate floor! He certainly takes a lot of pride in his work and it shows when the job is complete. He knows what he is doing and takes his time to explain each part of the process, especially when I had some concerns surrounding my patio doors and a rotten skirting board. He is also a very likeable person who is happy to chat as he works and most importantly, knows how to clean up after himself! Phil came around just before Christmas to fit two carpets, he did a brilliant job on the spare room, carpet was fitted to an extremely high standard and we couldn't be happier with it, had a few guests over since who have said how good the job that has been done looks.
Had a problem with our stairs, with it being a very old house and having original stone stairs a few of the stairs were found to be damaged after we lifted up the old carpet, Phil gave us very professional advise on the best course of action and offered to come back at no extra charge once the repair work has been done on the stairs.

Had a problem with our stairs, with it being a very old house and having original stone stairs a few of the stairs were found to be damaged after we lifted up the old carpet, Phil gave us very professional advise on the best course of action and offered to come back at no extra charge once the repair work has been done on the stairs.

Phil came to look at the carpet that was poorly fitted by another company and couldn't believe the state of it.
Phil did his best to correct the work and made a very good job of it as well. He was professional and genuine throughout and I couldn't recommend his services highly enough. Would definitely hire again, an honest guy doing his best for customers.

The replacement was done start to finish by H2H with Phil taking me through all options in terms of carpeting and underlay materials at his show room, and turning the job round in a very suitable timeframe.

We found H2H Flooring via a cork flooring supplier, as a recommended installer. However, Phil soon assessed our home and our lifestyle and advised against this material, instead recommending a range of wool carpets better suited to our needs. This high level of expertise and professionalism went throughout our experience working with Phil at H2H. He kept us well informed of the process and timescales, installed the carpet to an incredibly high standard (Phil is a perfectionist!), and even returned on a Saturday to fit the final piece - a stair runner - as we had to wait quite a while for it to be made. The results are beautiful - we could not have asked for a better experience working with Phil and would recommend him 100%.

Phillip arrived at my apartment at the time he had promised last Saturday. Completed the carpet fitting in just over half an hour to a very high standard, before clearing up all excess and any mess, and offering to help me place furniture back into my bedroom. An extremely professional and reliable service was provided overall. Would definitely recommend H2H Flooring.

Phil is meticulous and knows the product very well; he is confident and thorough. Phil advised honestly around different types of flooring, branding and cost. He also helped colour match and support us with choosing the right one for us. He spent 2 hours talking and surveying the property before providing a quote that was competitive.Some other tradesmen did not have the level of knowledge he did which meant some things were not done up to the standards needed for Phil to complete the work in the time expected and caused Phil difficulties which we wish we had known about prior.Phil has done a brilliant job and he will be coming back to fit more LVT in other areas of the house shortly.
